"SeaShore" artworks, exclusive creations for 1of135 Gallery, Tel Aviv 2018/9
SeaShore is a series of textile art, combining fabric and paper, with unique textures created in mixed techniques such as sewing, printing, chemical burning, painting, and tearing. Seashore was inspired by a series of photos, taken by Branitzky, capturing the charm of the sea in different seasons of the year. The works combine golden threads from the 1950s, old pages from recipe books that were sewn and processed so that the text becomes a texture, drawing papers and special fabrics developed by Branitzky in a chemical process.
